As we know Acupuncture has been used for centuries to keep us well and to heal our bodies. What many people don't know is that Acupuncture can also be used cosmetically.

 

What is cosmetic Acupuncture?

Cosmetic Acupuncture is the use of fine needles inserted into the face and other points on the body. The points selected are specific to rejuvenation of the face and to the individual.

 How is this done?

After a consultation with your acupuncturist, several points will be selected and needles inserted into points on the arms and legs;  we then apply fine needles which are inserted into specific points on the face, followed by needles inserted into the fine lines and areas of concern.

Once the needles are inserted, you will be treated to a luxurious arm, hand and foot massage.

How many treatments will I need?  

As we are all individuals the treatments will differ for everyone. We recommend 3 treatments within the first 10days, followed by 1 - 2 treatments per week for 5 - 10 weeks.

Who is the treatment suited for?

Anyone who is concerned about the aging effects on the skin.

Facial rejuvenation treatments are not suited to pregnant women, people with bleeding disorders or heart disease.
